Bosch Rexroth-Star Linear Profiled Rail Systems
|
|
Rexroth Ball Rail systems were specially developed for use in machine tools and industrial robots calling for compact, rolling-element linear motion guideways. Ball Rail systems are available in various accuracy classes, each with extremely high load capacity and high rigidity.
These space-saving assemblies in 9 common sizes (15mm - 125mm) afford the same high load capacities in all four major planes of load application.
Make up your own compact linear motion guideways from interchangeable standard stock elements...
Rexroth fabricates its guide rails and runner blocks with such high precision, especially in the ball track zone, that each individual component element can be replaced by another at any time. This makes infinite combinations possible within each accuracy class. Each element can be individually ordered and separately stocked. Both sides of the guide rail can be used as reference edges.
Features:
- Optimized geometry and high number of balls per track greatly reduce any variation in elastic deflection.
- Smooth light running due to optimized ball recirculation and ideal track geometry.
- End face threaded for bellows, lubrication plates, scraper plates or additional seals.
- Mount to runner block from above or below on flange style blocks.
- Lube ports on both sides for maximum ease of maintenance.
- Zero clearance or various preload classes.
- Only one guide rail profile for all runner blocks.
- Integral all-round sealing
- Mounting hole cover strip available
- Corrosion resistant coatings available
- Self-aligning version for uneven mounting surfaces or other alignment errors.
- Runner blocks available in aluminum for lightweight applications
- Wide version available for high torque resistance when using a single guideway.

Rexroth Roller Rail systems have been especially designed for machine tools and industrial robots requiring compact, roller bearing linear motion guideways. They are available in various accuracy classes with extremely high load capacity and high rigidity. These space-saving assemblies available in 5 common sizes (25mm to 65mm) afford the same high load capacities in all four major planes of load application.
Rail Seal mounting hole cover strip for the guide rail mounting holes:
Features:
- Made of corrosion resistant spring steel
- Available for Ball Rail and Roller Rail systems
- Easy to install with clip on fitting
- Protective caps available
- A single cover for all holes
- Patent pending

The Miniature version of the Rexroth Ball Rail System has been developed specifically for the precision engineering sector, i.e. for the production of optical or electronic data processing devices, where rolling-element linear motion guideways of extremely compact dimensions and high load capacity are required. The linear motion guideways have equal load capacities in all four directions of load application.
Features:
- High load capacity in all directions including moments about all axes utilizing the largest possible ball diameter.
- Lubrication access from front face and/or side ports, dependent on size.
- All parts made of corrosion and acid resistant material similar to DIN 17230/EN 10088.

Rexroth’s eLINE range of ball rail systems was developed for applications where high rigidity and accuracy are frequently not the most important considerations, especially for light machinery and for handling and positioning movements where the main emphasis is on economy and durability. Made of wrought aluminum alloy with ball tracks of hardened antifriction bearing steel, the runner blocks and guide rails are characterized by their low weight, compact design, and equal load bearing capacity in all four main directions of loading.
Special features of the new eLINE Ball Rail Systems:
- Available in the three most common sizes to DIN 645-1
- Structural design allows for much greater parallelism and height offsets of the mounting bases
- Can be mounted even on unmachined mounting surfaces, depending on the application
- Especially compact, lightweight design; 60% weight saving versus steel versions
- Much higher corrosion resistance than steel versions
- Two rows of especially large-diameter balls make this guide less sensitive to dirt while offering higher torsional stiffness
- Runner blocks initially greased in-factory, therefore provided with long-term lubrication
- Available in two accuracy classes and two preload classes
- Ball retainers in the runner blocks allow them to be removed from the rail without any loss of balls
- Optional lube units can be mounted at each end to prolong lubrication intervals still further, often reaching lube-for-life, and provide end sealing action
- Guide rails with reference edge on both sides
- All accuracy classes can be combined with one another
- Interchangeability allows individual stocking of runner blocks and guide rails
- Same connection dimensions as steel ball rail systems
