Type RfN 7012
The original Ringfeder® Locking Assemblies™ generate easily adjustable & releasable, mechanical shrink fits. Torque and axial loads are transmitted by radial clamping pressures and friction between
the functional surfaces. Available in inch sizes from 3/4” to 8” and metric sizes from 19mm to 1000mm.
Type RfN 7013
Ringfeder® self-centering Locking Assemblies™ with single taper design provide good concentricity and increased torque capacity. A pre-centering hub section is not needed, so these devices
can be used in applications where the hub has a relatively short bore length. Available in flange and straight-through types for shaft sizes from 1” to 4” and from 20mm to 150mm.
Type RfN 4071 and others
Shrink Discs® are external locking devices installed over hub projections to generate an easily adjustable and releasable mechanical shrink fit. They are used when high torques are required. Available for low inertia, light, standard and heavy duty applications, for shaft sizes from 6mm (1/4“) to 500mm (20”) and larger.
Type RfN 4171
Employs a single, long, shallow taper instead of the traditional three-piece unit resulting in better concentricity for high speed applications, especially where balance is extremely critical. Available for shaft sizes from 19 mm (3/4”) to 500mm (20”).
Type RfN 8006 and GSA
RfN 8006/GSA internal Locking Elements™ are ideal for fastening gears, pulleys, sprockets, cams etc... to shafts from 1/4” to 3”. Perfect for data processing equipment, computer peripherals, copiers and other applications requiring timing and backlash-free connections requiring lesser torques.
Type RfN 7110
The low-profile, self-centering locking device is designed for smaller hub diameters while maintaining centering accuracy and high torque transmission. Available from stock in 8mm to 70mm
(0.312 “ to 2.75 “) shaft sizes, with special sizes upon request.
Series 3012-3015
Series 3012 Locking Assemblies™ offer high torque transmission in small spaces.
Designed for heavy shock loads. Series 3015 devices are lighter duty versions designed for lower torque requirements without sacrificing functionality.
Type RfN 7003 and 7006
ECOLOC® Locking Assembly™ provides high-quality, low-cost shaft-hub connections. The ECOLOC® also uses a slit ring design for greater shaft tolerance variation. The self-centering units are completely backlash-free. Available with or without flange and in sizes from 3/4” to 6-15/16” and 19mm to 180mm. Other sizes available upon request.
RING-lok™
RING-lok™ combines the features of a steel taper bushing system and a keyless locking device. Works anywhere a conventional bushing system works. No backlash. No vibrating loose. No keys to
fit. Great for v-belt pulleys, timing pulleys, couplings, sprockets, sheaves, etc... Six types fit shaft diameters from 0.47” to 2.76” - 12 to 70mm.
Type 303-306
Ringfeder Corporation’s single taper Locking Assemblies™ are the choice where self-centering action and good concentricity of mounted components is required. Series 303 straight-thru type is
suitable for recessing inside hubs while Series 306 flange-type fixes narrow hub’s position relative to the shaft. Fits shaft sizes from 0.75” to 15.74” and 20-400mm.
