First range to benefit from SNR Premier approach, the range of SNR spherical roller bearings reaches or exceeds the highest performance data on the market, thanks to the research actions jointly conducted by SNR and its suppliers on the quality of the steels.
The common works initiated between SNR and the Iron & Steel manufacturers have allowed, for many years, a spectacular enhancement of the performance data of the steels. The evolution in the materials and technologies has resulted in an 18% increase of the dynamic load capacities for the SNR spherical roller bearings, and a 75% extension of their service life.
Our bearings can accomodate misalignment up to 0.5° and are particularly suitable for heavy mechanics and heavy-duty operation.
They sustain very high radial loads and moderate axial loads, both at low rotating speeds.
SNR Offers 3 cages, 4 specific solutions:
EA Series: Series with steel cage bearings for general high temperature applications (+200°C). Centred on the inner ring, the cage features a unique concept with 4 guide plans, for perfect position control of the rolling bodies without any added components. Surface treatment reduces the friction coefficient and the wear, for better hold at high speed. By design, the lubricant reserve in the bearing is increased and lubricant flow is enhanced.
EM Series: Solid copper alloy cage featuring excellent impact vibration and high-speed resistance.
EF800 Series: Solid cage for high vibration applications (See EF 800 Bearings for screening machines)
EG15 Series: 6.6 Polyamide cage (with 25% glass fibre fill) for general applications up to 120°C in continuous operation, and 150°C in peak operation.
Excellent resistance to impact vibrations as well as strong accelerations/decelerations.
