Lovejoy Inc
|
Lovejoy, Inc. finds it roots in 1900 when Thomas Lovejoy started the company to cater to the railroad and steel industries in his area. In 1927, when Lovejoy purchased the patent for the jaw coupling Lovejoy began its long history in the power transmission industry. Since this time Lovejoy has continued to develop the technologies involved with both jaw couplings along with universal joints as well as a number of other different types of couplings including curved jaw couplings.
Since moving to its current headquarter location in Downers Grove, Illinois, Lovejoy has also strengthened its ties in the worldwide marketplace by building a warehouse location in Holland to cater to its European customers. Lovejoys extensive product line comprises thousands of different combinations of couplings that are available in several different materials including: neoprene, bronze and hytrel. With the use of different materials, Lovejoy increases their products lifetime and protects the couplings against damage by dirt, grease or moisture.
Lovejoy, Inc. is also capable of custom designing a coupling or universal joint to meet a specific customer requirement. Feel free to contact Dalton Bearing Service, Inc. with any inquiries regarding Lovejoys extensive coupling line.
