1. High Strength Steel crosses -- Made from high strength steel and produced on state-of-the-art impacter equipment. These parts are heat-treated to provide maximum strength and increase operating life.
2. High Quality Seals -- Long-wearing abrasion resistant Nitrile seals retain lubricant in the bearing and keep contaminants out. Metal protective shields are used on many truck applications for extended seal life.
3. Machined to Meet or Exceed OE Standards -- All parts are ground to stringent tolerances with quality assurance inspections at every step of the manufacturing process.
4. Grease Fitting Holes Drilled and Tapped -- In addition to standard grease fittings, Chicago Rawhide CR offers flush fittings. These fittings are normally located in the cross. For specialized applications, the fitting is located in the end of the bearing cup for easy access.
