INA Axial Bearings

INA Axial Bearings

Axial deep groove ball bearings

Axial deep groove ball bearings comprise shaft locating washers, housing locating washers and ball and cage assemblies. The bearings are not self-retaining; the ball and cage assembly and bearing washers can therefore be fitted independently of each other.

In addition to series with flat washers, there are also series with spherical housing locating washers for compensation of static misalignment. These designs are normally used in comjunction with support washers. Axial deep groove ball bearings are available in single and double direction designs.

Both designs can support high axial forces but must not be subjected to radial loads.

Axial cylindrical roller bearings / Axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies / Axial bearing washers

Axial cylindrical roller bearings

Axial cylindrical roller bearings comprise axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies and shaft and housing locating washers.
The bearings have particularly small axial section height, have high load carrying capacity and high rigidity and can support axial forces in one direction.

Axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies

Axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies comprise axial cages with one or two rows of cylindrical rollers. The cage assemblies have particularly small axial section height, high load carrying capacity and high rigidity. They can support axial force from one direction and act as non-locating bearings in a radial direction. Axial cage assemblies are combined with housing or shaft locating washers or are integrated directly in the adjacent construction. If they are used without axial bearing washers, the raceway must be produced as a rolling bearing raceway.

Housing locating washers

Housing locating washers are produced by machining, the outside surface is ground and the running surface is high precision machined. They are housing located and are combined with axial cage assemblies if the adjacent surface cannot be used as a raceway.

Shaft locating washers

Shaft locating washers are produced by machining, the bore is ground and the running surface is high precision machined. They are shaft located and are combined with axial cage assemblies if the adjacent surface cannot be used as a raceway.

Bearing washers

Bearing washers can be used as housing and shaft locating washers. The bore and outside surface are turned, the running surface is ground.

Axial needle roller and cage assemblies / Axial bearing washer / Axial needle roller bearings

Axial needle roller and cage assemblies

Axial needle roller and cage assemblies comprise plastic or metal axial cages with integrated needle rollers and have a very small axial section height. They can support high axial forces in one direction. Radial loads must be supported by separate means. Axial needle roller and cage assemblies require hardened and ground axial running surfaces for use as raceways.

Axial bearing washers

Axial bearing washers are punched, through hardened and polished and can be used as shaft or housing locating washers. These washers are suitable if the adjacent machine part is unhardened but is sufficiently rigid and geometrically accurate.

Axial needle roller bearings

Axial needle roller bearings are units comprising axial needle roller and cage assemblies and axial bearing washers with a centring spigot. They can be combined with drawn cup needle roller bearings and needle roller bearings. The axial running surface for the needle roller and cage assembly must be hardened and ground.

Axial angular contact ball bearings

Double direction axial angular contact ball bearings are non self-retaining precision bearings with restricted tolerances to class SP. They comprise solid shaft locating washers, spacer rings, housing locating washers and ball and cage assemblies with solid brass cages. The parts of the bearings are matched to each other and can be fitted independently of each other; they must not be interchanged with those of bearings of the same size.
