Shafting and Accessories
Pacific Bearing offers a variety of shafting, rails and accessories such as Feather Shaft™, Feather Rail™, RC60 Steel, 440 Stainless Shafting, and custom options.
Feather Shaft
Designed to run with Simplicity FrelonGOLD™ lined bearings, Feather Shaft™ is available in standard or custom shafting. Using 6061-T6 aluminum base material with an RC70 ceramic coated finish; these shafts are non-magnetic and vibration resistant. Weld splatter, paints, and contaminants will not stick.
Feather Rail
Designed to run with Simplicity FrelonGOLD™ lined bearings, Feather Rail™ is available in standard or custom lengths. Using 6061-T6 aluminum base material with an RC70 ceramic coated finish; this one-piece integrated design eliminates assembly time making it an economical, lightweight alternative to traditional steel shafting. Feather Rail™ is non-magnetic and vibration resistant. Weld splatter, paints, and contaminants will not stick to the shaft.
RC60 Steel Shafting
RC60 Steel Shafts are made of case hardened steel and suitable for Simplicity™ bearings and linear ball bearings. These shafts are polished for optimum surface finish, available in standard, cut-to-length, and random lengths, with pre-drilled and tapped options.
Stainless Steel Shafting
The 440 Stainless Steel Shafts are suitable for original FrelonF™ lined Simplicity™ bearings or linear ball bearings. These shafts are available in standard, cut-to-length, and random lengths.
