Lovejoy, Inc. was created by Thomas Lovejoy in 1900 to service the railroad and steel industries.  Lovejoy purchased the patent for the jaw coupling Lovejoy in 1927 and has ever since been successful in the power transmission industry.  Lovejoy continues to be on the cutting edge of innovation and continues to cultivate the technologies involved with both jaw couplings along with universal joints as well as a number of other diverse types of couplings plus curved jaw couplings.

Lovejoy is located in Downers Grove, Illinois and services a worldwide marketplace.  Lovejoy has a warehouse location in Holland to meet the needs of its European customers.  Lovejoy’s wide-ranging product line consists of thousands of various combinations of couplings that are available in numerous different materials including: neoprene, bronze and hytrel.  Lovejoy increases their products lifetime and protects the couplings against damage by dirt, grease or moisture.

Lovejoy offers an outstanding Disc Coupling with the latest state of the art design through Finite Element Analysis.  This product has had extensive testing and shown proven effective in application.  Lovejoy also offers S Flex Couplings, Grid Couplings, Jaw Couplings, Miniature Couplings, Gear Couplings, Pulleys and Motor Bases, Specialty Couplings, Torsional Couplings, and Universal Joints,
